This is the first time I had stayed at a hostel. Although i was anxious at first but I can say that I’ve not been let down. From the booking to the check-in to throughout my stay, everything was easy to follow. I stayed at the female-only 8-bed dorm, which was nice and clean. I felt safe. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had a good night sleep - can’t complain except for the lack of vegetarian/vegan options at lunch. I will definitely recommend staying at the Maverick Urban Lodge.

The hostel is very good overall! Just felt a lack of the social aspect, as a 19 year old most people there we a lot older, not that it matters but I feel like it took away a lot of the social vibe in the hostel. I also felt like activities organised as well as the breakfast were a little over priced. But overall had a great time and the hostel was very clean, as well as the staff was super friendly!

Very modern hostel, very comfy beds and good privacy. Large storage space for each bed and three communal kitchens. Downsides - showers stank (think due to drain), no oven, atmosphere is a bit flat (lots of older guest), slightly far out from centre.
