We had a great stay here, felt like we were basically the only ones which was sometimes eerie as there were no staff but equally meant we had the place to ourselves! Lovely little pool, decent kitchen and a very nice room!

Great spot to stay if you're planning to do some of the trekking or other outdoor excursions in the area! Clean, rooms had A/C and private bathrooms. Pool was on the small side but still great for a dip. Since the rooms are like a hotel and its off to the side from the main street with bars and restaurants it made for a quieter vibe.

+ Staff are very helpful and friendly, location is decent, just a short walk to the center of the old town, room size was good - The hostel is just off of a busy intersection with heavy bus, car & motorcycle traffic & persistent honking until late at night and from very early in the morning. The room I stayed in faced the street and did not have much (or any) sound insulation, so unfortunately even with earplugs I got two nights of very poor sleep Better sound insulation would be a big plus
