the property was really great for socializing and had comfortable beds and bathrooms. the front desk was always staffed and the outside terrace closed to loud activities at a reasonable time so we would get some sleep. the showers were hot and what you would expect in a hostel. The only con is the hostel is located on a very steep hill but other than that the location is very close to the center of town and overall a great experience!

Nice hostel to stay at for a night or two while visiting Machu Picchu. The place is clean with a nice hangout area with views of the valley upstairs. Downsides are that it’s right next to the train tracks so you might get woken up in the middle of the night with a train roaring by your head. Passenger trains stop around 9pm but other come by. Also the staff speaks almost no English, so have you Spanish ready. Breakfast is standard for Peru hostels. Have second breakfast at TAO cafe, close by.

The location is what makes this place ideal. You will find Nativus right at the entry point to Aguas Calientes by train or via the hidroeléctrica. This property is, however, not handicap accessible - many stairs right from the outset.
