Bed was really bad, It was very hard and the upward bed you can't sleep! Toilet door doesn't close if it gets closed then it doesn't open 😊

Wonderful staff, beautiful (remote) location. Quite clean though some sheets had stains. Facilities need work, and room 1 was basic with poor ladders on bunks that were dangerous to use as they weren’t well secured. Strange smell in room, main door handle was broken, replacement handle was hard to use, broken outlet by top bunk. Basic showers/bathrooms but clean, light sensors were finicky and turn off quickly. Breakfast not worth 5€ (packaged cracker bread, boil eggs, apple, 1 yogurt, coffee)

Should say Bassia a neighbourhood of La Spezia but a long way up the hill with a long steep winding road by car or bus. Some guests had even walked or cycled. Ok welcome although catering poor and generally too relaxed. Choice of loud music not appreciated. Could have found a cheap hotel for the same price. Positives were the mix of other guests, mostly young and there to experience the Cinqua Terra. Local tabac did good coffee. Overall a not un enjoyable experience but still a bit disappointing
