I've stayed at hostels all around SEA and this place is one of the worst for the value. I'd be fine paying $2 or $3 for a bed here, but definitely not $7. First, the Filipina receptionist was very rude, short-tempered, and unprofessional. The other two guys working were fine, but she was awful. She made me and my father feel very unwelcomed and we didn't want to stay straight from the start. The bathrooms were also very dirty and uncomfortable. I don't mean to be rude, I'm just stating my stay.

Hostel was fine but bathrooms were very moldy/mildew smelling and gross. Staff member didn't give orientation of what the door code was (how to get in and out of hostel) where kitchen/laundry was, etc.

I was only here 1 night but it felt less like a hostel and more like longer-term accommodation for digital nomads or migrant workers, which is fine if that's what you're after! Was a little bit rundown here and there but had a lovely soulful feeling with really nice people - kitchen too! The staff are beautiful - so friendly.
