Definitely not worth the price at all. The rooms are so dirty and the staff are nice but are very nonchalant about everything. It does have a sociable vibe but it also has a strange air to it as half the people here are volunteers in a group already. Personally would recommend staying elsewhere and just coming here to meet people in the evening.

Staff are very friendly, the complimentary family dinner is great but could have more variety (I stayed five nights and it was the same nearly every night). Dorms are clean and the hostel is so close to the beach which is amazing. No soap in the bathroom and the sofas always felt a bit wet and dirty because of the dogs but apart from that it’s a great place.

Friendly staff and social setup so easy to meet people. During my stay, the nightly planned activity didn't happen. The happy hour on cocktails was ok for pricing, but the drinks very small and were not the best. The shower was said to be heated but there was no heating facility/box in the bathroom. Shower also not great. Didn't get much sleep in the night as went to a late night beach party with others from the hostel which was a great opportunity.
