ShakaBrah Beach Resort

Security, solar panels, beachfront, cheapest place in Siargao. The staff is nice. I enjoyed very much and recommend the place.

Incredibly upset with the service here. Booked for 2 guests for 1 night and turned up to only one bed being vacant. Staff refused to take any responsibility, saying Hostelworld was at fault and offering the choice of sharing one bed or sleeping in a dusty annex alone on the other side of the road. Made me speak on the phone to the owner, an actually nasty man who accused me of trying to take advantage of him. I've never met a hostel owner so frothing at the mouth to rinse backpackers.

Awesome vibes and comfy bunk beds Stayed in the dorms at ShakaBrah and had a great time! The bunk beds were comfy and clean. The hostel has a chill, social atmosphere, perfect for meeting other travelers. Staff were friendly and always happy to help. Great location too, right on the sandy beach. You can see the waves in Stimpies and Rock Island and they have a boat for surf trips. Would definitely stay again!
