I planned for 3 nights stay but stayed 8 nights. I love this hostel. It’s in a beautiful location right by the lake surrounded by nature and only 5 minutes walk from the beach. Lots of places to eat close by. Easy bus service to other towns. Very clean, A great price for a dorm with a fan with privacy curtains. Amazing food freshly prepared in the cafe. Saranga and Isuru are super friendly and helped me to book the whale watching tour and transport. I’m a solo female and I felt very safe :)

Such a special place. Booked for 3 nights, stayed for 2 weeks! Aurora is the perfect place if you want to escape the hectic town, be surrounded by nature & yet still be close to all the nice spots. This place and the people make you feel like home. But what makes this place so special are definitely the hosts: Saranga & Isuru are just the kindest, most caring people! They offered me any kind of help, made me tea etc. when I got sick and care so well for everyone here. Big thanks to you guys!
