The pipe house was a great stay, a very unique hostel with a great vibe. I didn't realize how far it was, so you def need a car to get here but it's worth it. There's a private beach and a gym on the grounds. The staff is super kind and made a delicious breakfast. You sleep to the sound of crashing waves!

A truly incredible “hostel.” It felt more like a little resort than a true hostel! AC works great, kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, and showers are hot! It’s located literally within steps of a beautiful beach that’s practically crowd-less. One of the nicest hostels we’ve ever stayed at. Only disclosure is that if you don’t have a car you need to be back by 1700 every night as the boat that crosses the estuary stops at that time, and it’s a 40 min drive into tamarindo.

Very quiet secluded area, didn’t realize it was a 40 min drive to tamarindo or taxi across Cañas river. Appreciated free breakfast and AC 🙏 very tiny room so no room for luggage only sleeping really, kind of a novelty stay. shower was finicky but nbd. The bathrooms are very large and clean, Great security, plenty of parking, right next to the beach, and a very chill beautiful atmosphere :)
