Honestly, might just be one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at (I don’t say that lightly!) The hostel itself is basic and has pretty standard facilities but it has such amazing character. Mahesh is such a gem. He manages to create a beautiful community of travellers and brings them together in such a perfect way. His energy is infectious but not over the top. Everyday, the group surfs and has breakfast together amongst loads more activities and family dinners, but there is zero pressure to join!

The best hostel I have ever stayed at!!!!!! So so social and friendly with lots of activities to do within the day, group surfing sessions were so cute. Mahesh is an ABSOLUTE LEGEND!! Beware though, you’ll end up extending at least 2 nights. Couldn’t recommend it more 🩷🩷🤘🤘

Mahesh(the owner) is amazing! Such a lovely guy so helpful and kind. A sociable hostel that doesn’t always revolve around drinking. Lots of planned group activities and family dinners. Location is perfect just a 2min walk to the beach and main streets. Ended up staying way longer than intended but is my fav hostel in Sri Lanka yet!!!
