I had a wonderful stay at Mayan Monkey! Great atmosphere, very clean, the food was good and I felt very safe. My only complaint is the location: it was a little bit confusing to find and there was not a lot to do at night after 7:00PM (restaurants, shops). It’s near where the cruise ships dock so there were a lot of tourists. But overall Mayan Monkey was a wonderful stay!

An honest review. The good: Good location , facilities are good. The bad: it is over priced for a hostel prices . The worst seemslike my bed had bedbugs I ended up with skin Rashes on my back. extra: it was cold and they turn on the A/C every night doesn't make sense.
