Gaston 2 was my favorite place to stay in Colombia. Magdalena really goes out of her way to make you feel at home and welcome! In my last night a big group was checking in late to my room and I had to catch a very early flight so she simply moved me into a private room without me even asking. Entonces: if you're looking for a communal base in Medellín that you don't want to leave don't to anywhere else! The surrounding area is also interesting to explore and there's a streetfood market nearby

Second time here and I love it. Located just outside of the too busy area of Poblado, with super friendly staff, great prices and a nice atmosphere, I would recommend it to anyone who wants a bit more peace and quiet while exploring Medellin.
