For the money that I paid, it was a great stay. In saying that, the dorm I stayed in was very stuffy and hot. But for a last minute stay so I could get to an appointment at The Alfred, the hostel was perfect. Although I did get bedbug bites. But the aircon worked well

If I could give negative stars, I would. Just terrible. Dirty sheets, staff is only on-site 10 am - 4 pm, no response to voicemails or emails. Both nights we stayed only 3 of the 4 beds in the dorm were provided bedding, despite repeated requests. A guest who had checked out stayed and slept in the lobby, and prevented other guests from entering. Totally unsafe and unacceptable.
