MeHug Guesthouse had an absolutely super location close the bus station, and in the middle of the town, offering great convenience to explore Phayao. However, it is definitely past its heyday, with general cleanliness low with stains and sheets and pillows and shared bathroom areas not cleaned. It has lots of potential, things just need to be cleaned up a little. Thanks for the stay nonetheless!

The staff at the Me Hug Guesthouse was really friendly, however they couldn’t speak proper English. The rooms very okay regarding the cleanliness, meaning they were clean on the surface. Unfortunately there was no window in the room so sunshine from outside was really missing. Besides that, the rooms are right next to the entrance (same floor), that’s why you could hear the staff talking in the hallway, especially in the morning! All in all I guess it’s okay for a couple of days, but not more.
