L'Etape du Mont is a charming hostel with comfortable beds, clean washrooms and the best staff. Loïc goes above and beyond to make your stay wonderful, even going so far as offering a ride on weekends to Mont Saint Michel before the tourist buses. With bikes for hire and a straight, riverside bike path, it's 25 minutes biking to get to Mont Saint Michel and beautiful to boot. If you're looking for a tranquil stay in a quaint town, stay here.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, just a bus ride away from Mont Saint-Michel. Very clean although there was only one sink in a bathroom shared between 8 people. Wish there were larger, lockable lockers in the rooms. Beautiful spot.

The place isn’t as new as the photos suggest, but it’s clean, and there are enough toilets and showers, which was great. The kitchen is very basic. It’s conveniently located near the bus to Mont Saint-Michel.
