The staff here are all lovely. The hostel is very spacious. They have a big kitchen space which by hostel standards was very clean and great for cooking. Our room was in the far corner. WiFi was no existent in there - saying that the WiFi throughout the entire hostel was pretty rubbish, could barely try to book a bus ticket online! The bunk beds in mixed dorms are also very rickety, does not make top bunk sleeping feel comfortable. It's a beaut hostel just didn't feel much of a vibe.

I had a very good stay in Hostal Natales and would recommended it for a stay before Torres Del Paine. It didnâ€™t have a â€˜classic hostelâ€™ sociable vibe but had spacious/bright communal areas and I did meet other young people whoâ€™d been to the park. My dorm room had single beds rather than bunks and the kitchen/dining room was big, well equipped, and clean which made preparing for the trip easy. Great location near the water and lots of bars/restaurants and you could bring your own alcohol

I've been there at the end of the season (end of March/beginning of April), actually being the last traveler to leave the place before they were closing it so this had good and bad parts. the good ones: I have a 4 bedroom only for me mostly during my stay but wasn't too social. the place was clean and warm, as location it is right near the lake, you can go for a walk easily, it's like 30 min walk from the bus terminal however. they do have a kitchen and the view from there to the lake is amazing
