I had a great time staying at the Elephant Hostel. The only thing that I truly found a bit sad is that there is no real relaxation area where you can meet other guests (the kitchens did not give off a sit down and chill energy)

Perfect stay. The 2 new owners went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and the other staff were incredibly helpful and generous with their time. The location was great. The hostel was clean and well maintained. As a solo female traveller, I appreciated the security, and good size lockers with locks provided. The dorm was spotless with a large clean cubby with curtain and the most comfortable bed.

Location: very close to metro, bus station, lotte mall, gukje market, jagalchi market, biff square. Room: i stayed in 6 bed mixed dorm. Linen was super neat and bed was comfy. AirCon was good. Bed has curtain for privacy, power socket and mirror. Common areas: two massive common kitchens, TV with netflix, free freshly ground coffee, water dispenser, and roof top area to chill. Vibe: this is what lets it down. It is probably same in all korean hostels. The typical hostel vibe is not present.
