Be welcomed in the picturesque coastal village Husavik while exploring the unique nature of the Diamond Circle, experiencing the solitude of Iceland’s Northeast, and observing whales in their natural environment. Situated on a side road in the heart of the town, Husavik Green Hostel is a small, sustainable, and eco-friendly run accommodation with the cozy atmosphere of a former home built in 1927.
It offers a fully equipped kitchen, a roomy lounge, and six different rooms, including the budget-friendly bunk beds in dorms and the more private single or double rooms. The minimum stay is two nights.
With its central location, all services including the bus stop to and from Reykjavík are within 2-10 minutes walking distance. Husavik Harbor and all whale watching and whale-related activities are only a stone’s throw away.

For the purpose of more fluid communication, please provide the property with a phone number upon booking.
Prepayment: The total price of the booking will be charged from 14 days before the arrival date, as it becomes non-refundable after that time. Please note that charges will be in the property's local currency (ISK). Currency fluctuations may result in a higher or lower final charge when converted to euros or other currency.
This property will pre-authorize your credit card.
Cancellations:
For cancellations up to 14 days before arrival, there will not be any cancellation fee. Cancellations 14 days or less before the arrival date and no-shows will be charged the full amount.
Personal check in from 16:00 - 18:00 (4pm - 6pm). Self-check in 18:00 - 22:00 (6pm - 10pm). Please provide your arrival time so we can send you the self check in instructions should it be after hours.
Check out from 7:00 to 10:00 (7am - 10am)

The reception is open for check-in 16:00-18:00 (4 pm-6 pm). Past 18:00 until 22:00 ( 6pm-10pm) is self-check-in only. Please provide the approximate arrival time or ask for self-check-in instructions should it be after hours.

Bed linen and hand towels are included in the advertised price.
Breakfast:
This is a self-catering-only property with complimentary tea and coffee. No breakfast is served on site but in close vicinity, within 5 min. walking distance.
