The hostel was good enough for a place to stay, I was directly next to the aircon box so was pretty cold during the night but asked for an extra blanket. It’s a very quiet hostel so if you’re looking for sociable, stay down the road at mad monkey. It’s also located down a dark seeding road, and next to some sort of building site. There are lots of restaurants close by. Good value for money, I actually booked it because I found the owners response to a negative review hilarious haha.

The owner of D’barn was so unprofessional all throughout our stay and the front desk. We had booked a tour thinking it would be smoother but it was not, no one was telling us the correct time of pick up, and the owner kept blaming the Philippines for everything, the tour being late, the shower in HIS hostel being broken, everything was Philippines fault, he did not take any accountability at all. And they advertised b-fast included online, it was not. We had to show him to get it.

We loved our stay here. it has beebeen our favourite accomodation in the Philippines so far. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are clean and have good facilities, and the pool is amazing. It is a little out of the way of the main town, but we liked that. Would 100% stay here again.
