The hostel reception is in a different place to the hostel which was a bit confusing to check in, I had to message them on WhatsApp. Hostel was clean, more like an air b&m feel. The owner kind of leaves you to it which is nice and pop in to clean at night. Comfy beds, 3 bathrooms and a short walk from everywhere really.

Very well located just steps from a hiking path. The staff were great and gave a explanation of the hikes in the area. Laundry place is 2 min walk away and town is about 10/15 mins walk. The hostel seemed to be almost all couples however this also seemed to be the case for el Chalten as a whole.

Lovely people and cozy vibe but the kitchen needs serious updating. No nonstick pots/pans exist all coating has been scraped right off. All pots are warped and many missing handles. Mugs are cracking. There’s also mainly plates and a couple of shallow bowls.Rooms need a serious deep clean but sheets are fresh. Bathrooms and kitchen cleaned daily which is great. Close to laguna torre trailhead but a 15min walk into town.
