A Perfect Hideaway with the Loveliest Hosts I had such a peaceful and memorable stay at this hostel. It’s truly a perfect hideaway from the noise and rush of the city — quiet, cozy, and surrounded by nature. The atmosphere felt like home from the moment I arrived. Adorable little place a bit far from city center. The host Vico and his wife are super hospitable and kind. We booked the tumpak sewu and bromo tour from here and the drivers and tour guides are extremely knowledgeable about the best times and weather conditions. Both tours went great and we got to see what we wanted while others who went later got stuck in the rain/flood or traffic. Food was great and there are places to explore around the hostel. Overall we felt very valued and taken care of.

The owners of this hostel are very nice, however, this is not the place if you wanna have a good rest. As others have mentioned the dorm is an open structure, that allows no AC. Every bed has a small fan which is nice, but it is definitely not enough if you try to get some rest in the afternoon after the Bromo tour. The open structure also means that every noise become much louder, let it be the geccos that got in, the rooster shouting at the neighbour, or the sound of vehicles passing by.
