The Guy is Nice. But No hot water. Not moskitofree and No Nets or whatsoever. No fire or emergentyplan Doors were locked from 10.30. The open gutter in front the guesthouse Shells like hell. The monkeys outsider were aggressive.

Pros: the old man taking care of the property is really sweet, true gentleman, changed my room after I reported issues Cons: check in isn’t allowed after 9pm though they have mentioned in website as 10pm, the owner doesn’t seem to take any requests about the same, also felt quite outcasted for being an Indian booking a room in India, he kept asking me to cancel and book somewhere else before I even checked in. room no 5- AC doesn’t work, too many mosquitoes, and the stench from a nearby drain

Max was a very kind and knowledgeable host. As we understand, Agra is not known for great accomodations so we felt lucky to have somewhere safe and clean. However, the rooms were smaller and less new than the photos and were slightly damp in December, the facilities (like the en suite) weren't great and the breakfast was a bit cold. It was a solid option for a one night stay but I'm unsure we would stay longer. Max is definitely a good host, though.
