The good: 1. Very good location that has no street noise! Which I did have in another top hostel in the same area. 2. Very kind and helpful cleaning lady. 3. Availability. The bad: The mold in the shower needs to be tackled. The ugly: 1. I booked a place at Elizabeth's Youth Hostel but got a room in the Central Park Hostel, which is cheaper and gets worse reviews. Get informed in advance before booking. 2. The strips to catch flies are aesthetically off-putting.

Don’t stay here. No idea why it’s showing 10 stars, this has to be a site glitch. Please sort for the MANY negative reviews of this place. It IS a quick walk from the bus station, but every single other aspect of our stay was so unpleasant. No 24 hour reception, no access instructions given before we arrived so we were locked out, horrible experience with a rude staff member, grossss showers. We’re staying at a same price hostel in old town tn and are so much happier, please do that too.

Very good base to explore Riga. Located on the main street of Centr and easily walkable to the local bua station. Can be as social as you wish. The staff were very responsive and happy to help. The place itself was kept clean and tidy and I can't fault the place.
