Jackass Hostel

Located 27 miles (43 km) from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park and minutes from Bass Lake, Jackass Hostel is a funky “fun”-g shui mountain, rustic and quirky lodging accommodation for adults 18 and up. A short walk to downtown North Fork makes for easy access to food and shops.

Jackass Hostel offerings include one private queen room, a girls' bunk dorm, a coed bunk dorm loft as well as tent sites.
Guests share all amenities including a full kitchen, bathrooms, and showers as well as social areas. Enjoy the seasonal veggie garden out back and nice mountain views.

We host a social, inclusive, and communal environment with our guests and locals. Outdoor adventurists and backpackers are welcome!

Jackass Hostel Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 72h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards.
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included.

Reception: from 16:00 to 21:00
No curfew.

Jackass Hostel is a clean, rustic, and quirky lodging accommodation for adults 18 and up.

Please note, Jackass Hostel is in a historic house. It's old. This creates the rustic cabin experience we offer. Our floorboards may creak sometimes, but the vibe is warm and welcoming. If you are looking for a partially rustic experience with some new amenities, Jackass Hostel is for you. If you are looking for something fancy, we probably are not the best fit.

There are no private bathrooms.
We do not have AC in the rooms. We have a swamp cooler in the social area.

Check in is from 4 pm to 9 pm. If you are not able to check in during this time, please reach out in advance so we can make arrangements.
Check out is at 10:00am.

Please park on the street. We share a narrow driveway with our awesome neighbors. Please help us keep the driveway clear by parking on the street above the hostel. (The red cabin).

Please clean up after yourself. Please wash and replace all dishes in their homes.
Name and date items you put in the fridge.

Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 6 am.

Complimentary earplugs are provided if needed. If you have your own, we suggest you pack them. Though quiet time begins at 10 pm, this is an OLD house, boards can be creaky and we can not guarantee other guests won’t snore.
