The hostel itself is not too bad. The room is nice enough, good locker space (lockers included). Kitchen was a tad small, but I was happy to have one. The hostel wasn't very appealing. There were no decorations, the doors looked like cardboard, etc. What shocked me the most were the showers. On my floor there was one shower for each gender. During check-in the receptionist said the payment for the accomodation was already done as my credit card was charged before. They overcharged my CC. The difference can not be the local tax CHF1,90/night. The amount is CHF18. I booked twin room but was given room with bunk beds for four people. It was like travelling back in time. Old, shabby facilities. Fortunatelly I stayed only 2 nights.

We booked the private room with en suite and for the price we paid we expected something a little nicer. You only have tiny face towels unless you pay extra at reception but this was closed when we arrived. There is only one plug by the door. With no air con you must leave the windows open but this makes it very noisy. The best thing was the bed as this is comfy and sheets are nice quality.
