Very nice and helpful staff. Food and drink were good value. (Especially breakfast) However no AC in the dorm and only a small fan which did not reach most of the beds. There were a lot of mosquitos in the room at night as we had to leave the window open.

This place was okay. The area felt safe but was also quiet with no much to do. The hostel had no vibe and I didn’t meet anyone there. The kitchen was poor with not even a kettle or toaster, very disappointing to not have even these basics. The biggest problem was the mosquitos, the garden of the hostel is a flooded swamp which is a breeding ground for mosquitos, every time I opened my window 15 mosquitos would fly in as there is no bug screen provided, big dengue risk.

Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. Great location. Everyone is very social and chatty, this is one of the best hostels we stayed in during our time in Brazil.
