Na een paar maanden herbouwd te zijn, gaat het in juni 2017 eindelijk weer open. Er zijn in totaal 7 tweepersoonskamers en 15 slaapzalen, allemaal met eigen badkamer. Er is een grote binnenplaats, een koel terras en gratis WiFi in het hele hostel.

Als enige internationale jeugdherberg in de wijk Lujiazui is het ideaal gelegen in het meest centrale deel van Shanghai. Minder dan 10 minuten lopen naar de twee metrostations (lijn 4 verbindt het centraal station, lijn 2 verbindt de luchthaven HongQiao (SHA) en de internationale luchthaven PuDong (PVG). Het is ongeveer 15 minuten lopen naar de rivieroever en minder dan een half uur lopen naar Lujiazui.

No kitchen for the guests, although stated here. Which sucks, because it was the reason for me to book this hostel. They meant the restaurants kitchen. The room was so humid, my clothes didnt dry. There was a leakage coming from the neighbours and they forget or mixed up my order a couple of times. Hostel is beautiful and the staff is friendly, but stressed. If they up their hospitality, this rating would already be better. The rooms are really nice and the showers and toilet are new.

The hostel is located in the center of pudong area. Close to the subwaystation and the center of Shanghai. Its an oasis of calm in this busy city. The rooms are clean and beds are wide and big enough. If i have to say something less good: The check-in took a while and the bathroom connected to the room has no door, if someone turns on the light in the night you might wake up.
