Great hostel with very friendly owners. We could switch to another room without any problems. Also the lady of the house helped me out when I needed the rabiesvaccine after I got bitten by a dog. She even went to the ministery with me and took me to the hospital to get the vaccine. The hostel is very close to the center and the beds are good.

Bathroom was quite rundown with mould and there was ants in both the bathroom and bedroom. Linens and towels were clean however and the free breakfast was nice.

Hostal Transilvania was amazing! The owners were so friendly and helpful when booking activities, showing us the route for cycling and ordering taxis, even when we weren't staying there anymore. The rooms are basic but clean and towels were refreshed every day. The only thing I have to comment on is that they don't provide filter water, so make sure to buy bottled water for the room. We would definitely recommend staying here.
