We are an eclectic design hostel located in a stunning English-style mansion in the heart of Quinta Camacho, within the vibrant Chapinero district of Bogotá, one of the city's most dynamic and exciting areas.

Marietta - House of Social Travellers Policy and Condition

Absence and Cancellation Policy:
Modifications or cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled check-in date, no later than 3:00 PM (local time). Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a charge of 1 night plus taxes.

Check-In and Check-Out:

Check-In: From 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Check-Out: By 10:00 AM.

Late Check-In: For arrivals between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM (next day), guests must notify the front desk at least 24 hours in advance.
Late Check-Out: Until 2:00 PM, with an additional fee.

Payment Terms:
Payment must be made upon arrival via cash (COP, USD, or Euros accepted), credit, or debit card. All bookings must be prepaid. Colombian citizens are required to pay a 19% VAT, which is not included in the price. Foreigners must present a valid passport with a migration stamp.

Group Bookings:
For bookings of 10 or more people, specific group policies may apply, differing from individual reservations.
Depending on the season and demand, a 50% to 100% prepayment of the total booking amount may be required.
If payment confirmation is not received within 48 hours, the reservation may be canceled.

Age Restrictions:
The minimum age to stay in shared dormitories is 18 years.
Guests under 18 years of age in private rooms must be accompanied by a family member (verification required at check-in).

Other General Policies

Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed. Violations will incur a 200,000 COP penalty.

Food and Drinks:
Food purchased outside the hostel can only be consumed in the shared kitchen.
Alcoholic beverages purchased outside Marietta are not permitted. Violations will result in a penalty equal to 2.5 times the commercial price of the item. Coolers and ice are not allowed on the premises.

Noise:
Noise levels in guest areas must be kept to a minimum after 11:00 PM. Please enjoy our social spaces responsibly.
Marietta is a social travelers' home, and music events are an integral part of the experience. During events, music may play until 2:00 AM on any day of the week. Earplugs are available for guests who need assistance sleeping early.

Luggage:
We offer free luggage storage for the first 24 hours. After this period, a fee of 20,000 COP per day will apply, subject to availability.

Key and Towel Deposit:
Each guest must pay a 10,000 COP key deposit and a 40,000 COP towel deposit (only for dormitory guests), both refundable upon check-out.
