Practically located right besides a major public transport hub nearby the center of Amsterdam , you get quickly to and fro the center of town. It is not a hostel in the traditional sense, but rather a big hotel in a fairly massive office building area with hostel like facilities at lower than hotel prices. Rooms and facilities are good hostel standard and staff friendly, but the neighbourhood gives you no sense of being in Amsterdam.

I was looking for a place to stay for one night with convenient connections to the airport. This was perfect for that--clean, right next to the Sloterdijk station and one stop away from the airport. Dorm was clean. Lockers wouldn't fit a full backpack, but looked big enough to fit a laptop. Not the place if you want to be in the middle of the city center (although it is easily accessed by train) but was great for my purposes.
