Mad Monkey Nacpan Beach

Stayed 2 nights at mad monkey in Nacpan and it was the best nights I’ve had since arriving in el nido. The staff were amazing at creating a great environment and socializing. Isabella coordinated a fun sunset boat tour where I met a lot of great people and made some great memories. The GM Kurt was also very inviting and helpful giving suggestions about other location in el nido . 10/10 would stay again

Compared to other mad monkeys this one didn’t hit the mark. The location is stunning but the staff were extremely unhelpful, when asking any questions they made you feel a nuisance, there’s also no effort made by hosts to get groups involved so could be hard as a single traveller. The food and drinks were okay but very expensive with a 5% service charge when the service was crap. There is also no aircon and we received no complimentary drink on arrival.

Location was great, lovely beach but not much else around. The private room was basic but so hot. Like unbearably hot. It was impossible to sleep. It's a party hostel but the games etc felt really forced and awkward. Food/drink was overpriced and always different to the menu (always more). Staff behind the bar just not interested at all. Showers and toilets never flush and always dirty. Yes it's cheap but we have stayed in similar and it's been atleast cleaned
