Emblem Flow Hakone

This is based on my stay, staying in a shared room for one night Pros: * Friendly Staff. * Excellent facilities with the main necessities (Kitchen, common room, good internet connection) * Hostel has a restaurant, as well as they serve breakfast at an extra cost. * Excellent location, near the ropeway station and a train station. * Consistent clean * Has an onsen. Nitpick * As the onsen is the only place to have a bath or shower, could be an issue if you want to have it privately. However, I do feel

Great location and amazing to be able to access onsen within the hostel! Would have. Been nice to have had female only options for hostel rooms but bed was comfortable and clean. Only complaint was the smell. There was an odd sour smell throughout the building. After I left I went to re-wear the pajamas I had worn at Emblem and the lingering smell was unbearable and I couldn’t wear them.

I loved the property and the staff were so kind! Haru and Mio were very helpful. The restaurant is a bit expensive for what you get- as is the breakfast buffet. Unless you’re planning on going to hot springs in Gora specifically I would recommend staying somewhere more central and heading out from there. The rooms and facilities were super clean and comfortable!! Not much of a socializing scene if you’re a solo traveller.
