Just 3 km from town, our hostel is a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by a lush jungle, where the calls of howler monkeys and the songs of vibrant birds create a symphony that brings the mornings and evenings to life.

Our eco-friendly rooms, equipped with ceiling fans and ambient-temperature showers, provide comfort with minimal environmental impact. For those who want to soak in the beauty of the beaches and embrace the surf lifestyle, we offer daily shuttles to the beach and can coordinate surf lessons to help you catch the perfect wave. Whether you're an experienced surfer or just starting, our location offers the perfect environment to connect with the ocean and experience the ultimate surf vibes.

FREE SHUTTLES TO TOWN. We offer a free shuttle service from Casa de Olas to San Juan del Sur town center and back to the hostel every day. Please confirm your shuttle via email or WhatsApp. Since each trip has limited capacity, it’s important to notify us in advance of your arrival to secure your spot. The shuttle's pickup location is Social Pool & Patio.

NO RESTAURANT SERVICE. We don’t offer restaurant service, but we do provide a delicious breakfast each morning, which is included in your stay. For other meals, you can use our communal kitchen to prepare your own meals, or you can explore the food options in San Juan del Sur, just 3 km away. You can purchase groceries such as oil, spices, vegetables, meats, and other essentials, and easily coordinate with the shuttles to pick you up near the supermarket. Alternatively, you can enjoy delivery services, which offer a variety of options from many of the local restaurants in town, so you can have meals delivered right to the hostel. Whether you prefer to cook, order in, or head out to a restaurant, you have plenty of choices to suit your needs.

We don’t have a storage room for luggage. We recommend avoiding arriving before check-in time to prevent any inconvenience, as you’ll need to wait until the rooms and beds are ready starting at 3 PM. Once they’re ready, you’ll be able to leave your luggage in your room.

CASA DE OLAS NICARAGUA CANCELATION POLICY AND CONDITIONS:
(For all guests booking directly or through third-party platforms)

We understand that travel plans can change, so here’s how our cancellation policy works depending on the rate you choose:

Standard Rate (Flexible – 1 Day):
• Guests can cancel free of charge up to 1 day before their arrival date.
• If the cancellation is made within 1 day of arrival, the cost of the first night will be charged.
• In case of a no-show, the total price will also be charged.
• A deposit is required after booking to secure your reservation.
• Balance payment upon arrival by cash (local currency NIO – Córdobas) or card. Taxes included.

Non-Refundable Rate:
• Guests will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel at any time.
• In case of a no-show, the total price will also be charged.
• A prepayment of the total amount is required at any time after booking.

Please note:

All changes and cancellations must be made directly through the platform where the reservation was originally made. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to make changes to bookings through our end due to system limitations. Using a centralized booking system, we can only follow what is reflected and updated by the platforms.
