Completely sets the standard for amazing, award winnings hostels. No wonder this is the 2nd best in Europe. Incredible clean. Ridiculously friendly staff. Did I mention it's insanely clean. The best most well put together hostel kitchen. Stay here for comfort beyond your dreams

Nice hostel in the pretty building. Not too far from the main strip of Belgrade. Great kitchen downstairs with lots of good stuff. TV with Foxtel, guitars and chill couches. Only downside the bathrooms were really filthy. And every day at all times they were grotty. Besides this good vibes, the staff are nice too!

Staff here are awesome. Really really friendly and funny. Great kitchen facilities, and at night there's definielty vibes for partying or doing a pub crawl. Rooms are so so but the staff and facilities are great. Bonus points for the pinball machine in the kitchen

Put your trust in the owner Andrew! He is a fantastic guy who only wants to make sure you enjoy your stay. And he is very generous! I had a very unique experience, when I arrived I was the only guest at his hostel. He took me out to show me the city, a restaurant and then organised for me to do a day with his private driver to Tara national park. I got a very good price for the tour and Andrew was very very hospitable during my stay. I would recommend this hostel for more mature guests.

Great little hostel right next to the bus station at Ulcinj. Would really reccomend to those who need to spend a quick night in Ulcinj before further travel. The owner is a lovely guy, we shared beer and Pretzels outdoors in the evening!

Really cool, hippie vibes hostel with great staff and a very generous breakfast. Staff were very welcoming and gave us plenty of tips about food eating around the city. We also did an evening bicycle tour with Yurgen, lovely guy. He then took us to the local soccer match afterwards. Kosovo vs Finland. This was an experience I'll never forget, and one that can only be done with the help of the friendly staff and Yurgen himself. Stay here it's great!

Old Town Hostel East Wing, Kotor, Montenegro

Fun party vibes hostel right in the old town of Kotor. Staying here you really feel like you're waking up everyday in a Castle. The staff were fantastic, providing plenty of recommendations about the city and the best way to do things. Also boooked a tour with them, North Montenegro Tour which was great value for money. Great hostel, fun pub crawl. Watch out for the Rakija...

Really cool hostel with a great owner. He is always keen to make sure you're having a fun time. Unfortunately during our stay we found the volunteer staff really rude and pretty useless. Only interested in partying, the younger staff were rubbish. I asked one if them for more toilet paper, he told me it wasn't his job and talk to the cleaners. And then he kept drinking beer instead. Hopefully the hostel finds better volunteers, has the potential to be a really great time.

The best thing about this hostel is the staff are so knowledgable and willing to help organise your trip. I spent over two hours discussing cities and transport with them and came out with a plan to tackle the Balkans. The staff here are great! Clean beds, very comfy and a decent kitchen. Located just off the main strip of shops. Would stay here again

Stay here it's amazing. The owners are so generous, free meals and drinks on arrival. Breakfast every morning as well. The hostel is great at organising day trips, a really fun social atmosphere every night. The owner is a laugh. Shout Out to Jolly the Aussie workaway for making every day fun and social. Best Hostel day here, can't beat all the free food and drinks!!

One of the best managers of a hostel I have met. The lady who runs this place knows here stuff and will work tirelessly to make sure you are having a fun time and getting yourself organised. She even brought out ice creams for everyone after dinner as a treat. The best Hostel in Bol. Stay here it's fantastic.

A really great hostel for adrenaline junkies. So many activities on offer rafting, canyoning, skydiving etc. Really great kitchen facilities, clean comfy rooms. And a nice outdoor beer garden to soak up some atmosphere at night. Only downside is that the hostel is a 15 minute bus ride from the Lake Bled itself. So if you come be prepared to spend money on the daily activities. But lovely hosts. And great service.

10/10. A+. One of the best in Europe. Awesome, fantastic hostel with super community vibes and even better staff. Booked one night but ended up staying for three, the staff here were so great I couldn't leave. Location is 10/10. Waking up to look out over the town square every morning was a dream. Pub Crawl every night was a cracker. Spent my 24th birthday here and the staff (Thanks Jesss especially ) made sure the pub crawl was extra special. Stay here you'll love it!

Really nice, clean and quiet hostel located between Old Town and the Jewish Quarter. Great location, it's easy to walk across to the Jewish Quarter for great bars and food. Not a party hostel, many older guests and not a lot of socialising. But it's quiet and clean and the bathrooms were nice too.

Amazing location across the road from the train station. This place really sets the standard for value for money. The free dinners and breakfast are high quality and very welcomed for the hungover party goer. Really secure with key access into the building. Also easy to book a tour to Aushwitz (which also comes with a free lunch!!?). Really really good hostel

Really sets the standard for quiet, impeccably clean and relaxed hostel. The breakfast provided is really high quality. The staff are very friendly and will help you with anything you need to get you around Warsaw. Showers were one of the highlights, so clean and felt like a hotel. Not a party vibe so some of the guests were a little older. Still a great relaxed hostel

Surf and Chill Hostel, Essaouira, Morocco

Very quiet and calm hostel in a good location in Essaouira. Reception guys are pretty chill and helpful with anything you ask. The beds were clean and surprisingly comfortable. The doona was really cosy. Average bathrooms however tbh the entire city of Essaouira is messy and smells bad so it's not fair to be harsh. Only stayed one night but a good hostel for those interested in Surf day trips

Very average and crumbling hostel in Marrakech. Room of 8 beds only had one powerpoint to charge phones etc. Also exposed wires coming out of a wall. The bathrooms had a bad sewerage smell. Rooftop was messy and falling apart. Unsure whether the bath in the lobby is a pool or a bird pond. Staff were not very attentive, breakfast was so so. Wouldn't reccomend, there's much better to stay at in Marrakech. Also access is via a very dodgy alley. Felt unsafe at night

Probably the best hostel in Morocco. Believe the pictures, the pool is amazing and the perfect place to socialise. The facilities here are fantastic, breakfast is impressive (chef Marika is a fantastic lady) and the laundry is great too. Rooms are above average clean and the rooftop drinking spots are perfect too. I booked a desert tour from the front desk (cheapest I found although the tour itself wasn't very comfortable). Only trouble is the hostel is a little hard to find. Besides that 11/10

Brilliant hostel with hippy treehouse vibes and excellent staff. Had a fantastic time at Makuto hostel, booked two nights. Stayed for 5. The volunteers here really make the place welcoming and hospitable. The evening walking tour and beers in the caves was a highlight. Irish Dave and Lucy the Canadian were some of the best volunteers I've met in Europe. A really easy place to make friends and have fun in Granada. The front of house staff also give great reccomendations for local tapas bars

Pretty average and overcrowded hostel in Valencia. Stayed only one night because it was very expensive for a lack of decent families. 12 beds crowded into a small room, wifi was patchy throughout the whole building. Wouldn't reccomend considering the price.
