Pros include the fantastic staff, who go above and beyond to help you, give you recommendations, & answer all your questions. They'll lend you a transport card for the bus/subway, and I even had one of the guys personally walk with me to show me where the bus stop was. It's great that they're so eco-friendly too. Cons are the location (there's a bus stop right outside and a metro stop a 15min walk away but it's still quite a trip from downtown), and that the space is a little crowded/cramped.

Good social vibe and cleanest hostel bedsheets I've ever had. Free shuttle from airport appreciated (but keep in mind it's not free from the hostel TO the airport). However, the $50 security deposit is ridiculous, and it's annoying it can only be paid in cash. The hostel was a little dingy and the room wasn't very clean, but wasn't too disgusting, definitely survivable. The shower doors were too short so tall people walking by could see into the shower while you were in it. Okay stay overall.

Thank you for taking the time to give your views of our Hostel. $50 SECURITY DEPOSIT:- In the past, when the Security Deposit was $15, then $20, we found that it didn't stop certain guests from behaving badly, being disrespectful and sometimes disrupting the peace of the hostel. The current amount stipulated for the Deposit has everything to do with the "social vibe" you experienced during your stay. DINGY: Defination: Gloomy & Drab". All our rooms have windows. Your room, however, is one of the few rooms with windows on two of its 4 walls. Perhaps it would have helped if the curtains were drawn during the day. ROOM WASN'T VERY CLEAN: Mess shouldn't be confused with filth. According to our records, your dorm was cleaned the day before you arrived and , by day 2 of your stay, 4 of the 5 beds were occupied. It is not right to expect Management to control tidiness of your room-mates. SHOWER DOORS:- We have taken your comment into account and are working with our Maintenance personnel towards a solution. Thank you for pointing this out. We wouldn't have known it was an issue if you didn't. We wish you a safe and memorable adventure ahead

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Great facilities, fantastic and clean pool, nice common areas, cute decorations. Loved being able to rent a surfboard from reception for $15 (for 4 hours) and wetsuit for $5, much cheaper than expected. Only a short walk from the main street with all the stores & restaurants, bit of a longer walk to the beach but still perfectly doable. Only negatives were it's pretty loud at night up until 10 or 11pm & the room was a bit on the small side. Awesome stay!

Good location close to restaurants and stores. Nice modern building, friendly people. Just annoying that you have to pay to store your bags after check-out (and it's a coin-operated locker too so good luck if you don't have coins).

An alright stay. The hostel was a little dingy but not too gross, definitely survivable. It's quite far from the city itself (20-ish minute tram ride) but there are tram stops very close by. It's really much closer to St. Kilda but even to get there it's either a tram ride or quite a walk. Annoying to have to come in through the restaurant/bar downstairs upon check in and check out as the reception was closed so often. Good social vibe, really nice people in my dorm. Great security.

The hostel is super cute, I loved the outdoor common area with all the hammocks, etc. It was great that the room didn't have bunk beds, just regular beds (which were super soft and comfy btw). Really appreciated having a bathroom inside our dorm instead of a communal bathroom. Was able to easily book a shuttle to Tongariro from reception. The main drawback would be that they don't change the bedsheets for every new guest, and upon arrival found a toenail in my sheets, which was disgusting.

Great stay here, the location is perfect just a 2 minute walk from the bus station and tourist information center. Good social vibe, the people in my dorm were all super nice and great to chat with. Staff was helpful and answered any questions I had. Big lockers in room (but as with most hostels you have to have your own lock), free wifi which is a blessing in New Zealand.

Worst hostel I've stayed at. Dingy & dirty, halls sometimes smelled like weed, so much noise coming in from the street that I could barely sleep at night, it was super hot in the dorm & we had no fans or A/C. No free wifi so had to go use the computers downstairs to look anything up. Awful atmosphere, girl in my dorm kept aggressively yelling at people (including me) for coming in late & waking her up even tho we weren't being loud. Reception closed when we left early so didnt get deposit back..

Really nice place, looks much better in person than it does in the pictures which was a pleasant surprise (it's usually the other way around lol). Clean room, easygoing staff who went out of their way to help us more than once, complimentary beer upon check-in. Loved the common area outside, it was a really nice little corner. A bit of a walk over the bridge into the center of town but perfectly doable. Make sure to book a tuk tuk tour with DJ through reception, best day we had in Battambang!!

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, guy who checked us in carried my sister's heavy suitcase up to our 3rd floor room & the owner made a point of personally greeting/talking to every guest. Bit far from Pub St (15min walk) but free tuk tuk service is a plus & they also helped us book a tuk tuk for the day to take us around the temples & a day trip to Phnom Kulen. Pool was clean & refreshing, food pretty good & cheap. Lots of little bugs in & around room (spiders, fruit flies) but no big.

Great stay here. Building was very safe (had locked gate that you could only open with an electronic contactless chip attached to your room key) and the decoration both inside the room and in the hallways was very cute and gave the place a great, modern vibe. Staff was very nice and helpful. Beds were the comfiest we've had in Thailand. Only drawback was arriving here after dark the little streets leading to the hotel were kinda sketchy because they were so dark, but totally fine during the day!

Only stayed here for a night but it was a good stay. The man usually at the reception desk was super nice and helpful and spoke perfect English. The location was perfect; really close to Tha Phae Gate and on a street that had lots of little restaurants and cafes to try out. Only drawback would be the lack of a window in our room and lack of elevator (we were given a room on the third floor and had big suitcases to lug up the stairs).

Staff were really nice, and it was very convenient to have the guesthouse located right next to the bus station. The guesthouse is far from the Sukhothai Historical Park, but you can take a bus/communal tuk tuk-type thing from the bus station to the Historical Park for 30 baht, it's a 20-25 min ride there. Breakfast was good, the A/C in our room worked really well (in fact we had to turn it down because we were so cold). The private bathroom in our room was a little dingy but not terrible.

Great place to stay in Bangkok. Really social atmosphere, cool vibe, nice lobby/hangout area, staff is really friendly and helpful, and I never felt unsafe there or in the surrounding areas. The only drawback is that there was no elevator and we had to carry out suitcases up to the 3rd floor upon arrival. Also, taxi drivers often had a hard time finding the hostel, but we would just tell them to go to Khao San Road instead and walk from there to the hostel (10 minute walk). Would stay again!
