Showers, WiFi, receptionist and mattress were the best we had in south America. Not very busy, so not much atmosphere and not a place to go if you want to meet other people. Staff were fantastic, couldn't do more for you and had lots of information. Kitchen well equipped. Great location near the mirador.

Breakfast was good as long as your not gluten intolerant or vegan, they had a well equipped kitchen so could cook meals later in the day. Showers were hot, WiFi not so good, good location, not really an atmosphere but it was quiet when we were there... Could be cheaper but so could all other hostels in cochabamba. Staff told us wrong bus time by half an hour so missed the last bus so need to update the bus times in the hostel folder.

Don't be put off by the entrance to the hostel as soon as you get in its very nice. A bit cold but not a lot the hostel can do about that. Breakfast could be better.

Good showers, hot water. Basic kitchen. Good chill rooms. Take snacks on colca canyon tour as meals are dangerously small.

Great kitchen, beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. Restaurant attached to hostel is very good but a bit pricey if traveling on a budget.

Caelum Hostel, Cali, Colombia

My favourite hostel in Colombia so far. The staff are so friendly, the hostel is clean, the free breakfast is yummy! It's a socialable hostel, but not a party one which is perfect, but if you do want to party they are always organising hostel nights out and different activities. Also free salsa classes and lots of information on tours and what to do in the city and where to go next. Couldn't fault it, thank you for having us!

The Dreamer Hostel, Santa Marta, Colombia

8th Jun 2018

Location was brilliant for what we needed as wasn't really fussed about santa marta itself so used the hostel as a base to go to and from between doing minca and Tyrona national park. Staff were great, facilities were great and clean and there was a massive shopping mall five minutes walk away with a supermarket. Only advice I can give on booking this hostel is book a room with air conditioning if your going for a dorm as it's very humid. Private room was fine with a ceiling fan. It's expensive
