Comfortable beds, good hot showers, nice common room areas including Tv area, pool area and roof top. The girl that works there from Colombia is such an asset to the team - she is so friendly and welcome. The restaurant at the back of the hostel was great and was fully packed with locals all night. The other guy on the front desk was pretty rude though and very blunt when trying to check out. Not a great last impression.. Other than that a great hostel!

Rooms are nice with curtains for bunk beds. Showers and facilities weren’t particularly clean though and breakfast wasn’t that great when we had it - but nice that it changes each day. Didn’t feel particularly comfortable / welcome here though - there were certain guests who were friendly with the staff but were either rude or didn’t speak to certain nationalities. Don’t feel that kind of behaviour should be condoned or ignored and us, and others, felt quite uncomfortable because of it

If you love cats then this is the place to be! They look after stray or abandoned pets for very little / no help, so very admirable. The rooms are not the cleanest - but when are they ever when you’re right on the beach? Hammocks outside are a nice touch and own jetty to sunbath. Also great to have free kayaks to go to explore too!

Lovely hotel on the lake. Restaurant was nice above and rooftop was lovely to chill after the day (and an extra bonus with the jacuzzis!) Only disappointment was that our room wasn’t cleaned at all when we were there (2 nights with a private bathroom).

Lovely hostel. Great selection for breakfast - there was so much to choose from AND some of it changed each day which was nice. Beds were comfortable and the staff were lovely - especially the guy on the reception who was trying to improve his English and also learn German. By far the nicest person on any hostel reception we’ve been too! He works so hard too!

Lovely hostel for a chilled time in San Jose. It was a great base for us to explore the city. The staff were all really polite and friendly. The only things were that we had an issue with breakfast - apparently our booking didn’t come with breakfast even though we looked for this on the site so we had to pay extra, and there was a slight issue with ants. We found ants in our bed on the first night and it became tricky when cooking to keep them away. Other than that, lovely hostel

Good hostel on the Main Street so great when you’re going out for food / drinks in the evening or if you need to go to the mini market. It’s quite a walk to the beach but it’s either that or be by everything else. It wasn’t the cheapest hostel but the breakfast was nice and the staff were lovely and welcoming

Such a lovely hostel. Big open spaces to chill inside, outside playing pool, by the swimming pool. The rooms were lovely and everything was so clean. Literally no mess / dust / dirt anywhere! Roger behind the desk was especially helpful in giving you ideas on where to go and what to do during your time in Panama City. We also weren’t feeling well after the San Blas islands trip and he kept making sure we were ok and if we needed anything which was really nice. Definitely recommend staying here!

Great hostel! Staff are amazing and couldn’t do more to help you. The cleaning staff are always working and want to help you wherever possible. Everyone is so friendly. Air con in rooms is so good and refreshing after being outside! Great sociable hostel but also chilled if you want it to be. Close to everything you need. Kitchen is a little small but still easy enough to use everything you need!

We only stayed here one night but definitely would have stayed longer if we could’ve. It was so much better than our previous hostel in Bogotá! The staff were super helpful and really friendly / chatty. The beds were comfortable and showers were great. The breakfast in the morning was great - freshly made in front of you and served to you which made a nice change. Seemed very sociable too which was nice.

We had a lovely time at this hostel. It felt like a home away from home. The kitchen overlooking the living room is great. The breakfast is awesome - fresh bread and cake from the bakery (different each day) and different fruits, as well as freshly blended juice. It was delicious. Quentin who works there is also very helpful when organising tours or just giving you advice on where to go. Would definitely stay here again - to be honest we didn’t want to leave! :)

The staff here are great and very helpful. The hostel is in a great location - we walked to Copacabana every day. The showers weren’t particularly clean though and didn’t have a hot shower once. Also the common room area was a bit odd - lots of tables which no one sat at with a tiny outdoor space where everyone crammed into. We tried to join one night but there was simply no room - you could just about get out the door!

BEST HOSTEL IN FLORIPA! We had such a great time here! Have already recommended to friends who were visiting Florianopolis after us. It has such a nice vibe. Before we came here, a lot of people rated the community and especially this hostel, and said how we’d love it etc. It is a very unique place surrounded by an amazing coastline but it was not for us. The kitchen area was not too clean probably down to having the bin & food waste right next to the cooker, without a proper lid and stagnant water in the sink, so there were lots of flies. We didn’t feel welcome at the hostel but we did visit another one for food and they were really friendly

Really nice hostel - outdoor swimming pool, areas for socialising and pretty big kitchen area. Only issue is the WiFi which keeps logging you out each time you don’t use your phone, and when you’re on the WiFi, it’s quite slow. But otherwise one of the better hostels we’ve stayed in. Breakfast is awesome! Eggs made in front of you, how you like them, toast, range of fruit and creme de leche - yum.

We had a disappointing check in experience where we didn’t feel very welcome. The guy on reception was quite abrupt and we were told our booking from Hostel World had been deleted. Eventually we were given another room. The room needed a bit of a clean - with cobwebs etc. and the shower was luke warm. The restaurant was nice - all vegan and vegetarian but they just need more staff - we waited an hour and a half for a wrap and 2 teas! We did have a nice view of the lake from our room though!
