Welcome to San Pedro de Atacama Archaeological capital of Chile !!! Rural Hostel is a suitable place for groups of family and groups of friends. We are 50 meters away from the main street that is Caracoles, where the entire economic center of the town of San Pedro de Atacama meets. Our staff will give you all the information that you may need during your stay. We are a hostel totally to rest, a quiet place, come to disconnect from the big city and recharge your batteries. Equipped kitchen Breakfast included Free Wifi ( satellite internet ) Welcome Drink Towels not included, for rent. Without heating Check In: 15:00 PM Check Out: 11:00 AM Pay only with Cash arrival of your Check In. Annoying noises are allowed until midnight and people outside the Hostel are not accepted.

Great location and helpful staffs. The bathroom is clean. Shower is nice and hot. It was also quiet after midnight. Would come back again!

Can’t say enough good things about this hostal. It has everything you could want ; clean comfortable rooms, relaxing hammocks, a spacious common area, good wifi, a well stocked clean kitchen . The free breakfast was filling and included bakery bread, oatmeal, jam, coffee, tea, and yogurt. The staff were excellent and willing to out of the way to help guests with all aspects of their stay in San Pedro . they were patient and professional and customer service was 15/10. Would recommend to anyone

Hostal Rural is perfectly located - right off the main road (Caracoles)! The staff is super friendly, the vibe was always happy/energetic. The hostel was always clean especially the restrooms. I spent my birthday at this hostel because of the warm friends I made - plus there's a bar at this hostel with happy hour! My only critic is that they need at least one more restroom (shower, sink, toilet) upstairs - right now, there's only one. Highly recommend staying at Hostal Rural!!!!

Amazing hostel, very chilled back vibes and a super nice staff. Ana was amazing and very caring. We were able to host a friend's birthday here and they allowed us to decorate and everything. if you're looking for a chill vibe, 100% recommend. Also the rooms are well insulated so yypu do not have to worry about being cold.

Nice Hostel in general. Rooms are clean, and hot showers with pressure ! Some things were missing, such a gathering area or events in the hostel. The very loud music can be annoying. We met very nice people there!

pretty good place, it's location to town is the greatest part about it. It's pretty chill but no alcohol allowed which was a shame because the social areas were great to sit and have a chat. felt pretty safe, staff helped out, place was cleaned every morning and breakfast was nice

Really good location near the Main Street. We had a private room with an en-suite which was really nice.

Stayed 2 days. It was fine but doesn’t live up to the coziness portrait on the pictures. Unfortunately the kitchen is really s***** and outdated, which is a bummer for a place where eating out is super expensive. This hostel has much potential but needs some re-vamping, especially in the rooms itself.
