This was a great place to stay. It’s quiet, non-smoking, and very clean. It’s located on the edge of Huaraz, so a 20 minute walk from town or 5 minute taxi ride, no big deal for us. There are plenty of mom and pop local restaurants nearby and even a fancy Don Cuy to feast at after a trek. The hostel just reopened, post-COVID, so my friend and I were the only guests. Our host, Gael, was very accommodating and provided very useful information for getting around town and to/from our Santa Cruz trek, including
