Property Description

The Hub Backpackers Hangout is now re-opened after a 30 month closure. It may take a few months before we can attain the same excellent party atmosphere that we had before, but we are trying. Our hostel is now located at the right side of R2R hotel between W- Divers and the DPWH building , just to the top of the walkway you will see a huge yellow dot that is our property.. Please find our cel phone or WhatsApp number so we can assist you in finding our hostel. The Vegetarian food is cheap and delicious our famous veggie burger still tastes amazing. Every bed has its own fan so you're never hot. Everything is within walking distance. The hostel is quaint with super friendly staff willing to assist you in any travel tour or diving need. Had an amazing stay!! Brandon and Joy are the best hosts! They looked after us so well. The rooms they have are very clean and everything you need. They organised trips for us and aiport taxi, for good fare. Super helpful with everything we needed. The Hub hostel is the old one they've moved to Green Gecko now. They have just taken over another hostel too which we stayed in as well. So excited to see this project!!! Thanks to you both

We had a wonderful stay here, staff were really helpful and accommodating when our ferry was cancelled and we needed to stay an extra night. The accommodation is fantastic value for money and perfect for budget travellers. Even though we were not the most social, there are good options to be sociable if you want to. Also the best value tours are offered here. Highly recommend:)

More like a home than a commercial hostel that if you're after comfort&cleanliness, this is a good place. Guests can be a bit messy but I think that's part of the homey charm. Social atmosphere's up to you too. Place quite intimate you can be friendly or a bit distant when you're tired. They give free rum every night & I believe own a rooftop bar nearby if you need some place after tours.Location's good but can be tricky.Tell driver drop-off is DPWH.You can go here via an alley right next to it

Great hostel. The staff is easy to talk to and really helpful! They helped us get cheaper deals more than once. Well located next to the main street, but tricky to spot from the street. You have to spot the hub sign in between two buildings and follow the narrow trail that leads to the main entrance. I would recommend to anyone that wants a good time, plus there is free rhum every night!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hub! The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was pleasant with my stay. The beds are clean and all have fans. Also, bonus (for me at least) the family lives in the same building, so you’ll probably get to meet them! They have two small children who are SO much fun with hang out with and are incredibly friendly:)

Great place to the stay in the heart of coron town! Brendan and Joy were so accommodating and looked after us the whole of the stay. You can book tours with them and they help you with any info you need. They also gave us a free upgrade to a nicer room and provided lots of free rum which was lovely! 😊 we will defo be back!

Not very clean (bathroom and rooms) no where to hang out as pictures are from pre covid time I was confused. Very lovely staff and owner tho! :)

Very disappointed. 2 days before our stay we were emailed to say the we’d been offered an upgrade because the owner d a newborn baby. This was the opposite of an upgrade - we were put into full moon hostel, rooms were dirty & basic, a ghost town with no staff, no reception and no information on tours, bike rentals, local activities etc. They also conned us into doing the Coron > El Nido 3 day cruise knowing the weather would be bad so we couldn’t do the activities and offered zero compensation.
