The hostel itself was great. The staff was super nice and accommodating to us for early check in and any other needs. The complimentary breakfast was great. The bathrooms, showers, and bedrooms were very clean and comfortable. The lobby and hangout area was also a great atmosphere. The only to thing is that the location was a bit far from the city center.

It's kinda expensive but you are in Zurich I have some feedback, they do not provide towel, there is no kind of shampoo or shower soap in the shower cabin!!!

I loved my stay at the Zurich Youth Hostel for one night. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the price included a rather wholesome complimentary breakfast. The overall vibe of the hostel was also very enjoyable with the bar being open till late and the social area being huge.

First time in a hostel and it didn’t disappoint. Staff were great, check in process was easy! Rooms were clean, and facilities were great! Lockers were secure and the place felt really safe. Atmosphere was okay in common room not a lot happening though, was sort of hard to meet people. Having to hire a towel for 6 chf was a bit steep especially for a hostel, but the included breakfast made up for it!

Very chill hostel. expensive for just dorm rooms but the beds are cozy. free breakfast is good. can even make a little sandwich with the breakfast options for a togo meal! for a youth hostel that is distant from the city centre, i would hope for it to be a tad more budget friendly. showers and toilets are nice and clean. dorms have stools and a small table. and a separate area in room for a sink.

Pros: Nice building with fun amenities like foosball and pool tables and a bar/snack area. Clean and quiet rooms. Close to the lake and mountain views, which are awesome. Cons: No shampoo/soap in the bathrooms, and the laundry machines were cash only. This hostel is more "family friendly" than I expected, which resulted in young children and babies running around and screaming during dinner and breakfast hours. Parents and hostel staff didn't do anything to correct this.

This was one of the better hostels I’ve stayed in. The rooms had a sink in the front part of the room separated from the beds by a door which was nice so you had a space to get ready in without disturbing others. Lockers were large, free breakfast was typical, but convenient. Bus stops nearby to get to city center. Common spaces were large although I did not use them. Staff was generally friendly except 1 who tried to make me pay for breakfast because I entered a minute before it closed.

To begin with it's far from a youth hostel, it's mainly older people. I arrived 1:30 AM pretty late as my flight was delayed thankfully this place is one of the few places that has a 24 hour check in.Basem the receptionist and staff member was very professional/friendly/helpful.The room was very cold and smelled bad. I also saw a spider with its web near the toilet. Not the best atmosphere at all.
