WELCOME TO MARIETTA - HOUSE OF SOCIAL TRAVELLERS

We are an ecliptic design hostel inside an english architecture mansion in the hearth of QUINTA CAMACHO neighborhood at CHAPINERO DISTRICT, one of the most vibrant and dynamic district of Bogotá.

Inspired by the mysterious and alluring spirit of social travellers, our purpose is becoming to create a space gradually to host those with open minds and a taste for the urban social life. The kind of place where the music, food and drink tickle your senses and good memories follow you home. The kind of night where you can free your mind with others to let your senses guide you along the rhyme of a social atmosphere after exploring a city day.

Just a few important bits we thought you would like to know. We have comfortable rooms, some are ensuite private rooms, others private rooms with shared toilet, also we got comfy dorms. In our main floor we have our social area where you can socialize with others at the court-yard bar, along the living rooms, or why not in our co-working area or well equipped guest kitchen, without mentioned PASTORA MEZCAL our Mexican taqueria with the best tacos, micheladas, palomas and margaritas in the area, with the best affordable rates for our guests.

Take a swing in Marietta’s ecleptic seductive surroundings, enjoy the nights socializing with others or just get hunt by a mysterious heart in the bar – the choice is yours.

ABSENCES AND CANCELLATIONS
Modifications or cancellations must be made no later than 1 day (24 hours) before the scheduled check-in date, with a deadline of 3:00 PM (local time). For cancellations and/or no-shows made after the mentioned deadline, a charge of one (1) night plus taxes will be applied.

CHECK-IN – CHECK-OUT
Check-In: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Late Check-In: For arrivals between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM (next day), guests must inform the front desk at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
Check-Out: 11:00 AM
Late Check-Out: 2:00 PM (extra fee applies)

PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Payment is due upon arrival in cash (COP, USD, or Euros accepted), credit, or debit card.
All reservations must be prepaid.
All Colombian nationals must pay the VAT of 19%, which is not included in the rate. Foreigners must show a valid passport with a migration stamp.

GROUP RESERVATIONS
For reservations of more than 10 people, specific group policies may apply, which differ from individual reservation policies. Depending on the season and/or demand, an advance payment of 50% to 100% of the total reservation amount may be required. The hotel will attempt to contact the customer, and if there is no response within 48 hours regarding the payment, the reservation may be canceled.

AGE RESTRICTIONS
The minimum age to stay in shared dormitories is 18 years. Guests under 18 in private rooms must be accompanied by a family member (verification required at check-in).

OTHER GENERAL CONDITIONS

SMOKING:
Not permitted. A penalty of $200,000 COP will be charged to guests who do not comply with this policy.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES:
Food purchased outside of our location may not be consumed in common areas, except in the shared kitchen.
Consuming alcoholic beverages purchased outside Marietta is not permitted; a penalty of 2.5 times the commercial price of the product will be charged to guests who do not comply with this policy.
Ice and coolers are not allowed in Marietta.

NOISE:
Noise levels in the room areas must be kept to a minimum after 11:00 PM. Enjoy our social areas.
Please note that Marietta is the house of social travelers; music events are a core part of socializing, so during our events, music may be playing until 2:00 AM on any day of the week. We offer earplugs for those who need extra help to sleep early.

LUGGAGE:
We offer luggage storage for our guests at no additional charge for the first 24 hours. After 24 hours, a fee of $20,000 COP per day will apply, subject to availability.

KEY AND TOWEL DEPOSIT:
Every guest must pay a key deposit of $10,000 COP and a towel deposit of $40,000 COP (for dorm guests only), which will be refunded upon return at check-out.
