Martina's Place

Martina's Place Hostel is located in the center of Agujitas, which is usually called Drake Bay. It is a 2-minute walk from the beach and around the corner there are supermarkets, restaurants, a bakery, a pharmacy and an ice cream place. We offer private rooms and dormitories. Each bedroom has a small fan, locker and hot shower. You can cook in our communal kitchen and sit, chat and eat on our covered patio. Good wifi connection and free coffee.
We organize all tours to Corcovado National Park (Sirena station $115, San Pedrillo station $100) , Caño Island for snorkeling $100, diving $155 or whale and dolphin watching $100.
We also offer horseback riding for $45, night hikes for $45, bird watching for $45, mangrove tours for $100, and some 'off the beaten path' tours to local farms or hidden waterfalls.
The 2-day, 1-night night tour at Sirena Station will cost $345 to $390 depending on the number of people who go that day. Tour prices include park fees, transportation, lunch, equipment and certified guide (Note: when applicable...)

Prices are per person in cash or plus 13% with credit cards or plus 6% with PayPal.

The town is small and authentic, surrounded by abundant nature. Don't plan your stay too short, there's plenty to do here! There are no ATMs or banks in Drake Bay, bring enough cash, card payments have 13% VAT on tours. IMPORTANT: If you want to go to Corcovado National Park or Caño Island, you must notify us at least three days in advance in low season or one month in advance in high season, recommended... There are 120 tickets per day only.

To request spaces in Corcovado we need the full name and passport number of everyone who wants to go to the park. The park office operates only from 8 am to 3 pm.
