2. From early December to early February, painting and repair work will be carried out on the external walls. As a result, scaffolding will be erected around the entire building and the view from the windows will be limited.

1.THE LOCATION - The perfect location for those who plan to visit Kerama islands (Zamami, Tokashiki, and Aka). We are facing the port where boats to Kerama islands depart.
2. PRIVATE CAR PARK - You can use our private car park for FREE! Okinawa’s main road, “Route 58”, allows you to drive around the island, and is only a minute away!!
MY PLACE provides free WiFi throughout the premises. You will have a spacious common area that includes a fully equipped shared kitchen and a wide living room that you can use 24 hours. Be sure to check out our hammocks!
A selection of bus tours throughout Okinawa can also be booked at the front desk. Churaumi Aquarium, Kouri Island, Cape Manza, and Ryukyu Glass Village, for example. MYPLACE also rents out bicycles.
My Place offers varied types of rooms, fit for solo budget travelers as well as families or groups. Some rooms offer a relaxing harbor view. Dormitory rooms come with a curtain set on each bed to ensure privacy, as well as individual reading lamps, electrical plugs, and fans.
We are located in the heart of Naha city which is 20 minute drive from the airport. We are very close to Naha’s main ferry terminal, “Tomarin”, and the main national road of Okinawa, “Route 58”. Kokusai dori street is about 20 mins away on foot, while the “Iyumachi” Fish market, is a mere 5 mins walk!

I really enjoyed the community and the environment of My Place Okinawa. The staff was helpful and always available. The common room was my favorite, it was very cozy and lively, I met great people there that I ended up traveling with later. On Saturday we had a free takoyaki dinner, it was fun to make. Overall, the rooms were very clean, the bathrooms are cleaned and restocked I believe everyday. It's about 25 mins walk from the center or to the closest beach which was nice.

myPlace was clean, comfortable, safe, and I enjoyed my stay so much that I returned for a 2nd time in one trip! Amenities are good, staff are very helpful, it is well organized and I would absolutely stay here again. One tip - I recommend that if you are an English-speaking tourist to be prepared to have the location in your phone to give to your cab driver if using, the name "my place" is in English on the side of the building as well and it is sometimes confusing for Japanese speakers

Great place to meet others and if you are looking to take ferry tours then they are just around the corner. A great hostel for those looking for a quiet place area but still want to meet folks. A little far from the main strip, but you can rent a bike at a very reasonable rate. The staff is great and very accommodating for your needs. Be sure to ask them for any amenities. They are also happy to communicate in Japanese, even if yours is poor.
