Explore the island: Take a dip in the natural springs of Ojo de Agua, go horseback riding, explore a volcano, hunt for the San Ramon waterfall, and experience kayaking or zip-lining through the canopy!
Convenient transportation is available near our hostel, and we offer authentic Nicaraguan breakfast or dinner for an additional charge. (Breakfast 4 USD, dinner 8 USD) Additionally, we can cater to your specific dietary preferences with personalized local, vegetarian, or vegan meals!
Of course, relaxing in one of our comfortable hammocks and catching up on your reading whilst enjoying a cold drink,
is also an option with us. We are here to help with your plans and welcome the chance to have you stay with us.

You'll be staying in the same house as we do, the same house that Lizzeth's mom and dad used to call home.
Lizzeth and I rebuilt it in 2017, so it's all set for the future.
There's always a family member around like me, Lizzeth, mom Rosario, dad Francisco, Lizzeth's brother Douglas, or his wife Keyla.
Together with our adorable friendly 3 dogs en 2 cats, we form a tight family.
You'll find the room is simple, but it's got everything you need: a small locker, mirror, power outlets, a fan,
a comfy double bed with all the linens, towels for your shower, cool floor tiles, and a secure door lock.
Plus, you'll have your own private entrance.
Don't forget – we've got free Wi-Fi, and our guests always rave about how fast it is.
And of course, you can rent mountain bikes, scooters, and horses with us to go over the island!

Fantastic family hostel to get the experience of living like locals do in Ometepe. The family is amazing, food is great and good portions, prices for the bar and scooter rentals are good, and the dogs are THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Bus goes by right in front. Guests should be aware the home is close to the road and there are dogs, chickens, roosters so it's not the quietest place however I absolutely loved my stay there and would return.

This hostal is just wonderful- very cozy and part of a family home. The family are native Ometepe people, and one guy who married in. :) They could not have been more accommodating in my needs to change dates and change number of people. We also arrived late, and they helped us order pizza. They recommended Ojo de Agua which is very close to their place and we had a GREAT time there. Finally, they were super accommodating about our scooter rental, and made our experience easy and pleasant!
