I wouldn’t stay at this hostel. The bathrooms were dirty and. the beds felt dirty. The location isn’t the best. It was incredibly loud all night. There are only outdoor common spaces. You can’t sit up in your bed if you have a bottom bunk. The lockers are small and can’t fit a backpack. The staff were nice.

Let me tell you about the Casa Santurce and its staff (If you think the hostel is as bright and shiny or as sociable as in the photos, a surprise awaits you). When I discovered the toilet in my room was clogged, the staff on duty simply handed me a plunger. I found that a little strange, but went ahead and plunged away, to no avail. When the staff guy tried himself and failed, he absolved himself of responsibility, saying "You caused the problem, so you have to fix it."
