La Tangara Rural hostal is the place to go if you want to experience the stunning nature around Jardin.
The terrace provides excellent views and comfort suitable for any weather. There are hammocks, swings and many areas to relax in whilst you enjoy the surroundings and maybe even a beer!
We have many exotic plants and also have our own banana, orange and guava trees so you can help yourself to fresh fruit daily. We are pet friendly and you can also get to know our dogs, you can even take the dogs for walks if you are wanting some great company. There are also a cat, chickens and a mini pig:) There is a shared kitchen, shared lounge with TV , free WiFi, board games, darts, a tour desk and a fresh complimentary breakfast to make your stay even more enjoyable! We have private rooms with their own en-suite and we also have hot showers. Also there is a shared room. And a wood cabin with solar energy. Laundry facilities are also available.
In the property you will find gardens to wander around, the sound of the river and many beautiful birds you can watch while you hike not far from the hostel where you can even visit some waterfalls! The walk into Jardin takes 25 minutes or 10 minutes via tuktuk with lovely views all along the way. La Garrucha cable car is only a 10 minute walk. There are many activities to do in the area including horseback riding, coffee tours and hikes.
We offer both private and shared rooms. Plus a wood cabin you can book too.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at La Tángara. The property is beautiful. Incredible views of the mountains. The room was very comfortable and clean. Natalia, the owner, is so kind and helpful. She really made us feel like welcome guests in her home. Made breakfast every morning. Was happy to take us around and give great advice on how to spend our time in Jardin. We even had dinner and watched a movie together one evening. Dogs are sweet and will join you on adventures. Loved our stay

We had a lovely stay here thanks to the hosts. The friendly family atmosphere of Tangara was a pleasure. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. The location is peaceful and with amazing views however it is out of town so be aware,however the tuktuks are plentiful and cheap (fixed at around 15k pesos currently).
