I had a really lovely time here. It’s a little out of the city but the area still has cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. Mohamed was super accomodating and happy to share informations and advice on the area. Really good place for a quiet stay. I would highly recommend it here.

Dar Widad was very clean and comfortable. I stayed here one night in the dorm. It got a little hot at night - since Ouarzazate itself is hot - but the room was well ventilated and so I slept pretty well with a thin blanket, as thin as a bedsheet.
Mohamed who welcomed me to the hostel was super kind and helpful. I happened to arrive at the hostel just after his afternoon prayer time on a Friday, and he offered to share food that his mother cooked for this occasion. That was very kind of him.
