Absolutely loved my stay here. Excellent location just a 20-min walk from Dotonbori, and right next to Shiomibashi Station. Great social atmosphere, really easy to meet people. A small bar is part of the hostel which is open Thursday-Sunday; another great social component. The host brings it all together really well. I would absolutely stay here again.

This is the most social, fun, relaxed guest house I've ever stayed at. I even booked a few nights a second time upon returning to Osaka.

I had a great stay in R Guesthouse, the woman working the guesthouse was really helpful and friendly and cared about getting to know her guests, and remebering their names (shamefully I can't remember her name now ðŸ˜–). There was a very welcoming social atmosphere while I was there and there is a bar in the hostel to socialise at. The beds were comfortable and had a good amount of space at the side for putting personal belongings. Would definitely reccomend.
