Welcome to our little jungle. Warm greetings from the Apit Lawang hostel.
Our hostel is located in the middle of the island.
3 minutes from Buyuk harbour, 5 minutes from Sampalan harbour and 20 minutes from Banjar Nyuh Harbour or Toya Pakeh Harbour.
30 minutes to go to the Kelingking Beach (West Area) and 40 minutes go to Diamond and Atuh beach (East Area).
We have a spacious garden with various kinds of fruit plants. In our place you will be see kind animals such as dogs, cats, and birds.
And every morning you can enjoy the sound of birds chirping.
Our place is not too busy with crowds. If you are looking for tranquility, our place is perfect for enjoying the tranquility of Nusa Penida Island
We provide complete facilities for our guests, such as towels, unlimited balinese coffee, unlimited tea made by your self, refill mineral water (just bring your bottle), and hair dryers.
If you want to explore the island of Penida with your partner or friend, our place is perfect for your reservation because it is located in the middle between the east spot and the west spot. The space
We love our garden and all our fruit plants . The jungle is also just a few hundred meters away. There may be the occasional spider, mouse or frog visiting the bungalow. We have Geckos sharing the bungalows with you. They are friendly & take care of little insects for you. We clean the rooms carefully every day.
***Property Policies***
Cancellation policy: 5 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 13:00 to 21:00.
Check out before 12:00 noon.
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, but extra charge for credit card service fee.
Taxes included.
No curfew.
We do not accept customers younger than 18 years of age.
Non smoking.

Had a great stay here, loved the pod beds so lots of privacy. The location is very quiet and the restaurant in front was convenient for dinner. Staff was super helpful with booking scuba diving, tours and transport for me. They do direct scooter rentals which is super convenient bc you'll need it to get anywhere else.

This was a really sweet hostel! The staff are really nice, Komang and Nata are lovely. The beds are comfy and there’s enough space to put your bag in your pod next to the bed which is great. The facilities aren’t amazing but it’s cheap and very well located!

We really appreciated our time at Apit Lawang. A lot of reviews on here miss what’s important, yes the shower is en suite and partly outside, there were a couple of geckos in the room and cockerels nearby in the morning but most importantly Apit provides a peaceful island stay in comfortable bungalows. The pool is lovely, breakfast also and the restaurant out the front was recommended and equally lovely. The perfect spot for a little getaway.
